Samlex SDC-60 DC to DC Converter: 60 Amp
The SDC60 converter is used to drop a 24 volt DC source to a regulated 12 volt DC source. Uses include construction equipment, heavy trucks, buses, marine applications, military vehicles, etc., or any other 24 volt DC system. 12 volt radios (communications), lighting, stereos, GPS devices, sonar, depth finders, etc. are some of the applications, where current draw is below 60 amps total. This unit has a surge of 70 amps, and is fan cooled. The Samlex converters are highly efficient switchmode devices with suitable electronic protections.
