The Samlex ST1500-148 high efficiency microprocessor controlled DC-AC inverter converts 48 Volts DC (Nominal) to 1500 watts of pure sine-wave AC power at 100/110/120 Volts, 50/60 Hz. The unit comes with in-built 25 Amp transfer switch and a 16 Amp circuit breaker. Input battery cable lugs are provided and the AC output is obtained through hardwire connection. Features include overload, short circuit, over-temperature, under & over voltage protections, low power saving mode to conserve energy. The unit is e-13/ CE / FCC approved and the safety standards of the unit conform to UL-458 specifications. This unit is suitable for moderate AC power demands such as computers, video equipment, DVD players, stereo equipment, marine electronics, tools, etc.

Samlex inverters are premium quality electronic switch mode devices which take DC input from a battery or battery pack in 12 volt, 24 volt or 48 volt DC, and invert that power to 115 or 230 volt AC (alternating current) power. We carry only pure sine (true sine) units, as the modified sine power inverters are widely available. Pure sine inverters provide clean, utility grid type power (sometimes even cleaner) for proper functioning of AC devices, particularly electronic types such as computers, monitors, video and audio equipment, some motor types, and anything with a timer or microprocessor control that are sensitive to AC voltage variation. These units feature low voltage alarms and low voltage shutdown, and a built in transfer switch, to provide seamless power transfer from grid AC to inverted pure sine AC from the battery pack.
