Samlex SEC-2415UL 24 Volt 15 Amp Battery Charger
This Samlex charger is ideal for bulk charging 24 volt batteries or battery systems (AGM or wet) of 50 amp hours (ah) or more, or as a floating charger (long term maintenance) for capacities of 100 ah or more. This unit has proportional fan cooling, a 3 stage charge profile, and is ROHS compliant. Typical applications include marine, RV, communications, military, robotics, etc., or any application for 24 volts in engineering or R & D where constant use or testing of the device is called for, with batteries in the system. These are well built, reliable units, and used in quantity in commercial and military applications.

Samlex Battery Chargers
Samlex battery chargers are microprocessor controlled, fully automatic electronic devices, which use switch-mode technology to change AC input voltage to DC output voltage at much faster rates than traditional ferroresonant type chargers, which allows for a much smaller transformer, less size and weight, and increased efficiency. Samlex switch-mode chargers also will function as a power supply with a battery in the system, and the proper dip switch setting. These units are switch selectable for AC input voltage, battery type (wet, AGM, Gel), and power supply operation (battery with load). The 'battery with load' setting deactivates the boost mode, so the charger can function as a power supply without entering the elevated voltage level, which can damage a battery if applied for long periods. Proper maintenance of lead acid batteries keeps them healthy, and maximizes their life expectancy.
