SS-20L Morningstar Sunsaver solar controller

The SS-20L Morningstar Sunsaver solar controller is a 20 amp 12 volt solar controller in the Morningstar Sunsaver series. These units are well built pulse wave models, with low voltage disconnect, and designed for long term performance. They feature coated aluminum housings (no plastic). The 20 amp capacity of the SunSaver 20 is suitable to over 200 watts at 12 volts, either single panels, or multiple panels in parallel. The SS-20 has an LED that indicates solar power is available for battery charging, and has an operating temperature range of -40 C to +85 C. The Morningstar SunSaver controller series is a well engineered and reliable, reasonably priced solar controller solution. They are also excellent starting controllers for 30 to 50 watt applications, where the system will be upgraded with additional panels later. These aren't the fanciest controllers with all the gizmos, but if you want a reliable, well built, durable solution for minimal maintenance down the line, the Morningstar Sunsaver series of controllers are hard to beat, and are priced right.
