A 2/4/8 Amp charger for wet or sealed lead acid and true gel cell 12-volt batteries, this Battery Doc is about the only decent inexpensive charger we have seen with a specific setting for lead calcium batteries. This model Battery Doc is a state of the art electronic switching charger. Highly efficient, the charger will safely charge and maintain your battery at peak condition 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. These are constant current, 2 stage, soft start chargers, and come with detachable alligator clips, and a ring terminal harness. These are water resistant, and excellent for automotive, marine, motorcycle, ATV, jetski, etc. storage or maintenance, as well as any other 12 volt battery, including the small sealed lead acid (AGM) types. These units are excellent for charging and float maintenance on 12 volt lead acid or sealed lead acid (including true Gel) batteries, particularly in moist or wet environments. With the included accessories, you can use alligator clips for convenient hookup to an accessible battery, or the ring terminal harness can be permanently attached to your motorcycle, jetski, ATV, etc., battery, so you just have to plug in the charger to the harness, without having to access the battery each time. You are much more inclined to use the charger this way. The universal input makes them handy for travel abroad.
