The SDC23 converter is used to drop a 24 volt DC source to a regulated 12 volt DC source. Uses include construction equipment, heavy trucks, buses, marine applications, military vehicles, etc., or any other 24 volt DC system. 12 volt radios (communications), lighting, stereos, GPS devices, sonar, depth finders, etc. are some of the applications, where current draw is below 20 amps (about 240 watts).
