Samlex SDC-5 DC to DC Converter: 5 Amp


The SDC5 converter is used to drop a 24 volt DC source to a 12 volt DC source. Uses include construction equipment, heavy trucks, buses, marine applications, military vehicles, etc. 12 volt radios (communications), lighting, stereos, GPS devices, etc. are some of the applications, where current draw is below 5 amps (about 60 watts). The Samlex converters are highly efficient switchmode devices with suitable electronic protections.
